3 Colt Starting -Step 2 The "Whoa"
2m 50s
What's up guys, Here at JG when using The Comfort Zone fundamentals of starting colts when we ask for the "woah" we want them to respond to the word using their rear and keeping the forward motion with their front end.
* You don't want to force the "woah" you must take the time with each colt that when you say woah they confidently stop. Each colt will be different some may take to it faster than others. Be Patient and follow the process.
* Sometimes you may need to slow your body language, lower your whip. When you feel them slowing down and start to come back that's a good time to ask for the "WOAH"
* Read your horse when they start to come back then ask for the woah, when the colt is still thinking forward that not the time to ask, be patient and wait for them to come back.
