First, thank you for the awsome videos! I have enjoyed them all and learned SO much from them.
I have a horse that is super soft the in the bridle, but not as soft as I would like in my legs. When doing circles and asking her to move her ribs, lift her shoulder and stay in a large circle all she wants to do is turn a tight small circle. I am struggling to get her to stay out with my leg. Any advice?
Hi Amber, first, thank you very much! I understand your situation and I know exactly what type of horse your are talking about. Look at how I introduce my horses to shoulder control in the circle and the basic exercise I use to teach them to drive through their diagonal and keep their shoulders up. https://thecomfortzone.vhx.tv/the-training-tools
Sometime, steering the horse towards the inside of the circle they are leaning into as you lift their shoulder, is a good way to teach the horse to be more self balanced. Sometimes we help them to lean in more by holding their shoulders up for them and giving them something to lean on.

Hope this helped and feel free to send me a video so I can better assess the situation. If you do, I will make a video for you on the subject and post it on here. Cheers!
